Aluminum windows
When choosing the color of aluminum, we offer you anodized and plasticized surface treatments.
Anodizing is the name for the process of surface protection of aluminum from corrosion. In this process, the aluminum is naturally coated with a thin layer (about 1 micron) of aluminum oxide, which protects it from further oxidation. However, the thin layer is not thick enough, so the aluminum profiles are subjected to artificial oxidation, where the thickness of the protective layer increases to 12 to 30 microns. Anodized aluminum is very resistant to acids but is not resistant to alkalis. After the installation, mortar or plaster must not stay on the aluminum profile for more than a few minutes as there will be permanent damage to the anodizing layer. Anodizing tones range from the natural color of aluminum from bronze shades to black.
You can choose colors from our color chart.
Plasticization refers to the process of electrostatically coating a metal surface with paint powder. After that, the polymer powder melts at a temperature of 180 C, and fuses with the metal to which it is applied. In addition to the RAL color chart, we offer you the option of choosing aluminum in wood imitation.
